Position Summary

AJM Cleaning Services, LLC is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Commercial Janitorial Cleaner to help maintain clean, safe, and professional environments for our commercial clients. This position requires someone who takes pride in their work, works independently, and provides excellent service to our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Empty trash and replace liners.

• Dust desks, furniture, windowsills, and other surfaces.

• Vacuum carpets and area rugs.

• Sweep, mop, and sanitize hard surface floors.

• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.

• Clean and sanitize breakrooms and kitchen areas.

• Clean interior glass, entry doors, and other high-touch surfaces.

• Restock paper products, hand soap, and other restroom supplies.

• Report maintenance concerns, supply shortages, or safety hazards.

• Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Follow all company safety procedures and client requirements.

• Lock and secure client facilities when required.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.

• Reliable transportation to assigned job sites.

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.

• Must be eligible to work in secure environments, including financial institutions such as banks.

• Must maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive client information.

• Must demonstrate honesty, integrity, professionalism, and dependability.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with commercial cleaning procedures.

• Experience handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Work Environment

• Work is performed in commercial office buildings, financial institutions, and other professional facilities.

• Evening and after-business-hours cleaning may be required.

• Employees may work independently at assigned client locations.

Safety Requirements

• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company safety procedures.

• Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer instructions.

• Report damaged equipment or unsafe conditions immediately.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Pay: $16.00–$17.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

• Paid training.
