Customer Compliance Specialist

I am reaching out to share a job opening for a Customer Compliance Specialist position.

Below are the details for the role:

- Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (occasional Saturdays required)

Requirements:

- Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish) with the ability to communicate effectively with all customers
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid State of Florida Driver's License
- Strong computer and typing skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as a subject matter expert on Collier County Solid Waste Services to educate residential and commercial customers.
- Conduct face-to-face community outreach regarding collection guidelines, compliance issues (e.g., curbside violations, irrigation timing, litter), and document all interactions in the County database.
- Follow compliance enforcement guidelines, including presenting and testifying before the special magistrate if issues escalate.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints professionally, utilizing emotional intelligence to resolve situations.
- Address and report on hauler issues such as truck fires, liquid spills, and property damage.
- Enforce regulations related to the Collier County Water Ordinance.
- Work independently with effective time management (vehicles are equipped with GPS).
- Assist with litter removal and transporting items to drop-off centers as needed.
