Dishwasher

Key Responsibilities

• Washing and Sanitizing: Clean all cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and plates using commercial machines or hand-washing when required.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Sweep and mop floors, wipe down work surfaces, and keep the dish station orderly.
• Waste Management: Empty trash cans, break down cardboard boxes, and take garbage to the dumpster.
• Stocking and Storing: Put away clean dishes and unload food or supply deliveries.
• Equipment Maintenance: Check machine temperatures and chemical levels, reporting any broken gear to managers.

Job Requirements

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for 8-hour shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work Environment: Comfortable working in a hot, humid, and fast-paced setting.
• Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Qualifications: No formal education required; past kitchen experience or a local food handler card is preferred by many employers.
