Join Our Mission: From Curing to Caring

Hospice Associate Medical Director | Northern Indiana

Where Care Always Matters

At Cherish Hospice, care always matters. We are focused on how we treat employees, how we work with compliance, and ensuring that we are actually transferring patients from “curing to caring.”

Cherish Hospice rests on three pillars of values: compassion for the patient, guidance every step of the way, and ensuring the patient's quality of life accommodates all the physical and emotional comfort we could give them.

You're Not Just a Physician - You're a Clinical Leader

As our Associate Medical Director, you'll provide clinical leadership and physician oversight that shapes the quality of care our patients and families receive every day. This role goes beyond bedside medicine — you'll partner with our Medical Director and interdisciplinary team to set the clinical standard for hospice care across Northern Indiana.

What Makes This Associate Medical Director Opportunity Extraordinary:

Lead with Heart: Partner with the Medical Director to guide a multidisciplinary team of RNs, LPNs, Aides, Social Workers, and Chaplains in delivering personalized, patient-centered care

Be the Clinical Authority: Certify and recertify terminal prognosis, participate in interdisciplinary group (IDG) meetings, and provide face-to-face encounters as required

Champion Comfort: Provide expert guidance on pain and symptom management, and support care plans that prioritize dignity and quality of life

Create Meaningful Connections: Build trusting relationships with patients, families, and referring physicians during life's most vulnerable moments

Ensure Compliance Excellence: Support regulatory and documentation standards that keep our agency's clinical care above reproach

Mentor and Collaborate: Serve as a clinical resource for hospice staff, helping build clinical judgment and confidence across the care team

Your Impact Zone:

As our Associate Medical Director, you'll provide clinical leadership throughout Northern Indiana, supporting patients and their care teams in homes, assisted living facilities, long-term care facilities, and hospitals - wherever they feel most comfortable.
