Plumbing Field Tech
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Plumbing Field Technician to install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot residential and commercial plumbing systems. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
Diagnose plumbing issues and recommend effective repair solutions.
Perform drain cleaning, leak detection, pipe repairs, water heater installation and repair, and fixture replacements.
Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Communicate with customers regarding repairs, maintenance recommendations, and project updates.
Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately.
Maintain company vehicle( if applicable), tools, and equipment in clean working condition.
Respond to emergency service calls when needed.
Collaborate with office staff and team members to ensure timely service completion.
High school diploma or GED required.
Plumbing experience preferred (2+ years recommended).
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing problems efficiently.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors in various weather conditions.
Experience with water heaters, tankless systems, sewer line repairs, and drain cleaning.
Experience using tablets or mobile software for service reporting.
Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
