Preschool Cook/Cafe Manager

We are seeking to hire a skilled Preschool Cook/Cafe Manager for a thriving preschool in Richmond, VA. The manager will plan and cook healthy meals and manage daily cafe operations.

• Prepare and serve healthy meals for preschool children
• Create weekly menus that meet child nutrition standards
• Order food supplies and track kitchen inventory
• Input data daily for the federal food program and maintain records for the program
• Clean and maintain the kitchen and cafe area ,

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Pass a state background check and health screening
• Cooking and Meal Prep Skills
• Ability to Multitask
• Computer Literacy
• Time Management Skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift food boxes
• Must be able to stand for extended periods as needed during meal preparation and cooking

ServeSafe Certification, but will provide the training

First aid and CPR certification

• Paid holiday time off
• Consistent daytime hours with no nights or weekends
