Registered Dental Hygienist

Registered Dental Hygienist – San Diego, CA

Our growing dental practice in San Diego, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are committed to providing high-quality patient care in a positive, collaborative environment that values professionalism, compassion, and continued growth.

Schedule

2–3 days per week: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing
• Conduct patient assessments, including medical history review and examinations
• Take digital X-rays while following all safety and infection control protocols
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA
• Assist with documentation, charting, and EHR/EMR systems

Requirements

• Active California Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
• Current certifications required to practice
• Experience in a dental office setting preferred; pediatric or general dentistry experience is a plus
• Proficiency with dental software and EHR/EMR systems
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and clinical procedures
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented approach

Pay & Benefits

• $53.00–$60.00 per hour
• Benefits may be available based on eligibility and hours worked, including 401(k), health insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
