Paralegal- Probate and litigation

We are an medium size, very busy law firm located in the City of Snohomish looking for a qualified, energetic and competent paralegal. You must be detail oriented, have pride in your work product and prioritize client service. Position is in office but occasional remote work may be authorized.

Probate paralegal

The successful candidate for this position will have a minimum of 3 years Washington State probate experience and have a working knowledge of the court procedures for King and Snohomish county. Working knowledge and experience in TEDRA actions, GAL and SGAL procedures preferred. You need to be able to communicate clearly and professionally with clients taking into account their often fragile emotional state in dealing with probate matters. The ability to multi task while maintaining attention to detail and organizational skill is a critical element to this position. You will open probates, get letters of administration, gather documentation, schedule hearings and client meetings with the attorneys, draft pleadings, organize creditor claims, prepare annual reports and close probates.

Litigation Paralegal

Same personal qualifications as above but you will be dealing with litigation matters mostly involving real estate and business. Boundary line issues, partitions, quiet title, construction disputes and construction defects. We also handle partnership disputes and foreclosures. You may also be called upon to handle landlord tenant matters.
