Accounting Clerk

About the job
The Accounting Clerk will accurately process financial transactions and accounts payable invoices
while supporting the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department.
We're looking for someone who
%CF; Has a high school diploma (an Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred)
%CF; Has 1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping, data entry, or a related clerical role (preferred)
%CF; Is proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data filtering and basic formulas, and accounting software
%CF; Has strong mathematical skills, excellent attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities
%CF; Communicates clearly and professionally with vendors, clients, and team members
%CF; Can maintain confidentiality and handle financial information with professionalism
%CF; Is receptive to feedback and willing to participate in training and professional development
%CF; Can adapt to changing responsibilities, scheduling needs, and priorities
%CF; Can work accurately and efficiently while meeting required deadlines and productivity goals
What you'll do
%CF; Process a high volume of vendor invoices, financial transactions, and customer payments accurately
%CF; Review, verify, and process vendor bills and expense reports
%CF; Prepare client invoices, post payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
%CF; Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and ledgers to identify and resolve discrepancies
%CF; Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
%CF; Support month-end closing procedures and other accounting activities
%CF; Complete data entry and maintain detailed documentation of financial transactions
%CF; Assist with general administrative tasks within the Accounting Department
%CF; Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal team members as needed
%CF; Use email, word processing, Excel, accounting software, and other electronic tools to work efficiently
%CF; Maintain a positive, cooperative, and professional work environment
%CF; Support a respectful and collaborative workplace
%CF; Adapt to changing priorities and assist with additional duties as needed
Physical requirements
%CF; Must be able to sit for prolonged periods
%CF; Must be comfortable performing repetitive hand movements
%CF; Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
%CF; Must have close vision for reviewing financial documents and working with computer screens
