GM Automotive Technician / Sign-on Bonus

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated GM Automotive Technician to become part of our expanding service team. In this role, you’ll diagnose and repair customer vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and ensure every driver leaves with confidence in the work you’ve done. If you have at least one year of hands-on experience, that’s a plus—but we’re also ready to invest in training the right individual who brings passion, drive, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections based on customer concerns and service requests
• Complete routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using both manual and computerized diagnostic tools
• Repair or replace components such as brake systems, wheel bearings, spark plugs, fuel systems, and sensors
• Follow established checklists to ensure comprehensive evaluation of all vehicle systems
• Communicate clearly with customers & service manager, providing accurate repair estimates and explaining recommended services
• Execute repairs with precision, efficiency, and attention to detail
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and professional service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an automotive service technology program is a plus
• Experience with electronic systems diagnostics and repair
• Strong problem‐solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
