Maintenance Technician-1st Shift

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical degree in related field or a minimum three year of experience in maintenance.
Knowledge and ability to perform welding, pipe fitting and other maintenance related
trades.

Position responsibilities:
Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner.
Reports parts and materials utilized on work orders in order to maintain inventory
levels of essential spare parts,
Promotes safe practice with regards to our Regulator and Safety Departments.
Performs Welding and fabrication for plant & facility.
Performs preventive maintenance and reports unsafe conditions to management.
Performs painting, carpentry, concrete and other trades as required.
Performs tool operating such as grinders, pipe threaders, metal saws, drill press,
and other tools as needed.

Essential skills and experience:
• Ability to utilize both hand tools and pipe cutters, threading equipment and drill press.
• Ability to drive a forklift.
• Ability to understand both written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform maintenance on and repair pumps.
• Ability to climb a ladders, lift up to 75lbs. and be able to enter and work in confined
spaces.
• Ability to operate company vehicle.
