HVAC Technician

Northwest Comfort Systems is looking for an experienced HVAC technician to join our team. This is a full-time Monday through Friday position. NWCS has been providing heating & air conditioning solutions for residential homes & light commercial buildings for over 25 years. We are looking for someone who is dependable, hard-working & customer service oriented. Someone who puts care into the work they do in order to better serve our existing & new customers. Responsibilities
Complete service & maintenances on heating and air conditioning systems.
Installations of heating & air conditioning systems.
Selling of heating & air conditioning systems.
Keeping track of vehicle inventory & order parts as needed.
Completing all needed documents for maintenances & installations.
Provide customers with information about products & services that we offer.
Communicate with our office manager in regards to scheduling services and installations.

Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in residential & light commercial HVAC service & installation.
Knowledge of service & installation of natural gas, electric, LP & air handler heating & cooling systems.
Knowledge of service & installation of R410A, R454B & R32 cooling equipment.

Preferred knowledge & hands on A2L equipment.

Familiarity with PSC, ECM, variable-speed, single-stage & two-stage operations.
Knowledge of low voltage controls, thermostat settings & operations.
Ability to troubleshoot problems as well as understand diagnostics & schematics, airflow & CFM.
Knowledge of styles of equipment; such as stand-alone, split systems, package units, & natural gas & LP.
Familiarity with ductless, mini-split, wall heaters, as well as water heaters, gas, electric & tankless, is a plus.
Familiarity with the King, Pierce & Snohomish counties areas.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as well as bend, crawl & reach without difficulty.
Excellent customer service skills as well as clean professional appearance.
Clean driving record required.

Company service vehicle will be provided.

Company provided tablet & cell phone.

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required
HVAC certification(s) is a plus

Pay

Excellent pay for the overachiever, up to $52.50 per hour.
