Roof Technician

Prairie View Roofing is looking for a dependable, hard-working Commercial Roofing Service Technician to join our team.

This is a full-time, year-round position focused on commercial roof repairs, small roofing installations, preventative maintenance, and metal flashing work.

PAY: $20-$35 PER HOUR
Pay is based on experience and ability.

⏰ SCHEDULE:
• 40 hours per week
• Overtime opportunities available
• Some out-of-town travel may be required

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Diagnose and repair leaks on commercial roofing systems
• Perform commercial roof repairs and preventative maintenance
• Complete small commercial roofing installations
• Install metal flashing, trim, coping, gutters, and related sheet metal
• Work with systems such as TPO, PVC, EPDM, roof coatings, and metal roofing
• Inspect roofs and identify needed repairs
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and work vehicles
• Document completed work
• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members

'05; QUALIFICATIONS:
• Valid driver's license required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Dependable and able to report to work consistently
• Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
• Able to lift and carry roofing materials, tools, and equipment
• Able to work independently and as part of a crew
• Commercial roofing or construction experience preferred
• Sheet metal and flashing experience is a plus
