Associate Attorney

Shrader Mendez Attorneys at Law are seeking a motivated and client-focused Associate Attorney to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload, advocating on behalf of clients, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while developing litigation and client management skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload from inception through resolution.

• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.

• Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances.

• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and legal strategy.

• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers.

• Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation and exhibit organization.

• Review and analyze medical records, expert reports, contracts, and other relevant documents.

• Collaborate with partners, attorneys, and support staff to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

• Maintain accurate case records and comply with all firm policies and ethical obligations.
