Duties/Responsibilities:

· Read, learn, understand, and interpret blueprints and work instructions, and other instructions written or verbal, to complete assembly of products or components according to established guidelines and quality standards.

· Read, understand, and interpret more complex ruler measurements.

· Advanced soldering and crimping skills.

· Ability to identify and pick out various sizes of wire for production.

· Knowledge of crimping machine and changing of dies in bench top crimper.

· Knowledge of kitting-bagging to prepare product for shipment.

· Use a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures to complete assembly of components or products and prepare products and other items for shipment.

· Assemble or modify electronic equipment, position, align and adjust work pieces and electronic parts to facilitate wiring assembly.

· Additional responsibilities, such as packaging and/or spot-checking others work

· Inspect and test parts and products as necessary, during and/or after assembly, according to established guidelines and quality standards.

· Advanced knowledge of all positions – go to person for assembly questions.

· Responsible for In-process inspection of all class 3 work, proper documentation, and proper method of assembly.

· Capable of setting up jobs and filling out paperwork for production.

· Able to troubleshoot as needed.

· Advanced knowledge of IPC Training Modules.

· Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, with the ability to speak and understand English

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers

· Advanced soldering and crimping skills

· Knowledge of kitting-bagging to prepare product for shipment.

· Time management

· Read and interpret schematic drawings diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions

· May be required to read measuring devices such as rulers, micrometers, calipers, scales, and use magnifying aids
