Forklift Operator
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator I to join our team in Plant City, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience operating high-reach forklifts in a warehouse environment and a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and productivity.
The Forklift Operator will operate Raymond Reach Trucks and Crown RC equipment to safely stack and retrieve supplies and materials. This position will also assist with inventory documentation and maintaining an organized and clean production area.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM until finish (typically 3:00-4:00 PM)
Overtime: 5-10 hours may be required as needed
Responsibilities
- Operate Raymond Reach Trucks and Crown RC forklifts.
- Safely stack and retrieve materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation.
- Keep the warehouse and production areas clean and organized.
- Follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Perform duties under the direction of a manager or supervisor.
- Work efficiently and reliably as part of the warehouse team.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of reach truck experience required.
- Experience operating high-reach forklifts preferred.
- Must be able to safely operate Crown/Raymond high-reach equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working in temperatures as low as 0°ree;F. Freeze suits are provided.
- Reliable and dependable work history.
- Strong work ethic.
- Must be available for overtime as needed.
- Candidates should be prepared for an equipment skills test during the interview process.
