Logistics Coordinator/Dispatcher

Gojob is hiring a Logistics Coordinator for a global logistics company in East Point, GA. Must have work history and 1 year experience.

Pay & Shifts:

• Monday-Friday $21.00
• 830am-5:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily transportation and logistics operations, including shipment tracking, scheduling, and dispatch support.
• Monitor shipment progress and provided timely status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate data entry and system records within TMS, WMS, and SAP platforms.
• Identify, investigate, and report delivery exceptions, including delays, shortages, and damaged shipments.
• Coordinate with carriers to ensure efficient communication, issue resolution, and on-time delivery performance.
• Maintain transportation documentation and compliance records to support operational and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Must have at least 2 or more years of experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, and customer service.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, tracking, sorting, and filtering functions.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in data and documentation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with experience coordinating across internal teams and external carriers.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with experience navigating logistics software platforms.
