Job Summary
A manufacturing organization in Fremont, CA is seeking a Quality Control Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented quality professional with experience performing inspections, reading engineering drawings, using measuring tools, and supporting product conformance in a production environment.
The Quality Control Technician plays an important role in protecting product quality and customer satisfaction by inspecting incoming, in-process, and outgoing materials. This position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative production and quality team, contribute to continuous improvement, and support a company environment focused on accuracy, accountability, and high-quality manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming inspections and receive parts into the warehouse using SAP Business One.
- Conduct in-process and outgoing inspections, including visual, mechanical, and basic electrical checks.
- Verify measurements, labeling, material certifications, and product conformance to customer requirements.
- Support final inspections, job bag closeout, and production schedule priorities.
- Prepare and submit customer First Article Inspection Reports through required customer portals.
- Troubleshoot quality issues using sound judgment, independent problem-solving, and supervisor guidance.
