Job Summary:

Plaza Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN- Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Responsibilities:

• Direct Patient Care: Provide routine and emergency nursing care to patients, including vital sign checks, wound care, and medication administration, under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assessment and Observation: Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or charge nurse.
• Medication Administration: Administer medications as ordered by the physician, including injections, IV medications, and oral medications.
• Documentation: Accurately document patient care, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Communication: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure effective patient care and communication.

Requirements:

• LPN- Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in the state of New Jersey
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
• 0 years of experience as an LPN- Licensed Practical Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
