What You’ll Do
As a Pharmacist with Truax Patient Services, your primary focus will be maintaining the highest standards of prescription accuracy and patient safety. Responsibilities include:
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions.
- Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with state and federal requirements.
- Help ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, professional standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and prescription-processing records.
- Provide professional oversight and support to pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy staff.
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to maintain an accurate, organized, and efficient workflow.
- Provide pharmacist coverage as needed to support pharmacy operations.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Active Pharmacist license in the State of Minnesota.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Preferred:
- Experience with pharmacy management systems and electronic health records.
- Previous experience in specialty pharmacy, patient services, or a clinical pharmacy setting.
