Construction Project Superintendent

Role Description

Project Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role, responsible for overseeing daily field operations on commercial construction projects. This role manages construction schedules, coordinates subcontractors, municipalities, and suppliers, and ensures work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards. The superintendent enforces safety protocols, conducts regular site inspections, and addresses issues that could impact timelines or budgets. Typical tasks include leading site meetings, tracking progress, maintaining detailed project documentation, and communicating effectively with project managers, owners, and inspectors. The role requires consistent on-site presence to monitor performance, support crews, and help ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of Commercial Experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Work, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Procore is required.
• Organizational Skills to manage schedules, documentation, inspections, daily reports, and photos.
• Construction Site Management skills to manage schedules, documentation, inspections, daily reports, and photos.
• Construction Safety knowledge and experience implementing OSHA and company safety standards. OSHA 30 is preferred.
• Relevant experience in commercial construction (ground-up, build-out, or renovations) as a superintendent or similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Effective communication and leadership skills to collaborate with owners, design teams, inspectors, and field crews.
• Proficiency with basic construction technology tools (project management software, email, digital plans, and reporting systems).
• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical training or degree in construction management or related field is beneficial.
• Ability to pass a background check.
