Demolition Laborer
Job Description
The Apace Standard (“The Apace Way”)
All employees are expected to perform work according to The Apace Way, which defines the company’s standard of excellence in all field operations. This standard applies to every role and is required in addition to all job responsibilities listed.
The Apace Way means consistently going beyond minimum requirements by prioritizing quality, cleanliness, safety, and respect for every job site. Work is not considered complete until the site reflects a high level of care and professionalism.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Maintaining clean and organized job sites at all times during and after work is performed.
- Thoroughly removing debris, nails, dust, materials, and any job-related waste from work areas.
- Ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored and not left scattered or unattended.
- Protecting all structures, surfaces, landscaping, and personal property from damage during demolition activities.
- Taking intentional care to avoid unnecessary disruption or damage to the property beyond the scope of work.
- Performing work with attention to detail, precision, and pride rather than minimum-effort completion.
- Leaving each job site in a condition that reflects a higher standard than typical industry expectations.
The Apace Way represents the company’s expectation that every employee takes ownership of their work, protects the client’s property as if it were their own, and delivers a level of quality that exceeds standard demolition practices.
