INSIDE SALES / LIGHTING SPECIALIST

Elaine Everett’s Lighting is a well-established, high-end lighting showroom serving builders, designers, and homeowners throughout the Houston area. We are looking for an experienced Inside Sales / Lighting Specialist to join our team.

Our clients range from homeowners selecting lighting for an entire high-end new build to customers simply looking for a replacement bulb. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about lighting, enjoys working with people, and can provide exceptional service while managing multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with lighting selections for new construction, remodels, and smaller projects
• Work with clients from the blueprint stage through product selection and ordering
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on the client's needs, style, and project
• Promptly process orders and follow up on order status and issues
• Return phone calls, emails, and messages promptly
• Answer incoming calls and greet customers in the showroom
• Follow up with clients to ensure their needs are being met
• Assist customers through our website and online resources
• Resolve order issues and communicate effectively with customers and vendors
• Remain current and knowledgeable about new lighting products, technology, and design trends
• Maintain a professional and welcoming showroom environment
• Remain available and attentive to customers throughout your scheduled shift
• Work collaboratively with the sales team to provide an exceptional customer experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of lighting sales experience required
• Strong knowledge of lighting products and applications
• Sales experience with a proven ability to work with customers and close sales
• Background in interior design, architecture, or the building industry is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Positive, professional attitude with a commitment to teamwork
• Goal-oriented and able to effectively multitask
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
• Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems
• Ability to work with clients on both large-scale projects and smaller everyday needs
