Small Business Sales Manager

Position Summary

Legacy Chevrolet GMC is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Small Business Sales Consultant to develop and grow relationships with local businesses throughout Ellis County and the surrounding communities. This role specializes in helping small businesses identify the right Chevrolet and GMC trucks, vans, SUVs, and commercial vehicles to meet their operational needs while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys networking, building long-term partnerships, and providing transportation solutions that help businesses succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new commercial and small business accounts through networking, referrals, community involvement, and outbound sales activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with local contractors, service companies, municipalities, agricultural businesses, and other commercial customers.
• Conduct needs assessments to recommend the appropriate Chevrolet and GMC vehicles, upfit options, and financing solutions.
• Demonstrate product knowledge on Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, Colorado, Canyon, Express, Savana, and commercial vehicle offerings.
• Coordinate with finance, service, and parts departments to provide a seamless ownership experience.
• Follow up with prospects and existing customers to generate repeat business and referrals.
• Maintain accurate customer records using the dealership CRM.
• Stay current on manufacturer incentives, commercial programs, fleet offerings, and market trends.
• Attend local business networking events, chamber meetings, trade shows, and community events to promote the dealership.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales, customer satisfaction, and prospecting goals.

Qualifications

• Automotive sales, B2B sales, or commercial sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Preferred Experience
• Commercial vehicle or fleet sales experience.
• Existing relationships within the Ellis County business community.
• Knowledge of truck upfits, work vehicles, and commercial financing options.
