Role Overview
As a Valhalla Coffee Barista, you’ll be the frontline of our brand — crafting high-quality beverages, delivering fast and friendly service, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, takes pride in their craft, and wants to grow with a rapidly scaling local business.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare espresso-based drinks, cold brew, teas, and specialty beverages with consistency and accuracy
Deliver exceptional customer service through friendly, efficient drive‐thru interactions
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout each shift
Follow standardized recipes and operational procedures to ensure quality and speed
Assist with opening or closing duties depending on shift assignment
Restock inventory, prep ingredients, and support smooth shift transitions
Work collaboratively with fellow baristas to maintain high throughput during peak hours
Uphold Valhalla Coffee’s brand standards, values, and customer experience expectations
What We’re Looking For
Prior barista or food-service experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Reliability and punctuality — we run on tight operational rhythms
Comfort with early mornings, weekends, and flexible scheduling
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs as needed
