Financial Service Representative I

Job Summary

A Financial Service Representative I is responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to banking regulations and security procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with questions, account inquiries, or direct calls appropriately
• Process daily banking transactions, including:
  • Deposits and withdrawals
  • Loan payments
  • Check cashing
  • Money transfers and wire transactions
• Verify customer identity and ensure compliance with banking policies and regulations
• Handle cash accurately and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift
• Promote bank products and services, such as savings accounts, debit cards, and loans
• Resolve customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints professionally
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping
• Assist with night deposit processing when required
