Certified Medical Assistant CMA- Brooklyn and Queens Location

We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant for Primary Care physician office in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn and Woodside, Queens.

Candidate should be bi-lingual in Spanish and English with working experience as a Medical Assistant. Good opportunity for Pre- Health college students.

Preferred Skills

• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts.
• Knowledge of EMR is a must.
• Ability to verify insurance, collect payments and co-payments
• Perform EKGs and obtain prior authorizations
• Perform basic clerical duties including answering the phone, scheduling appointments, and scanning and faxing documents.

Schedule:

Brooklyn location: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between 10 am and 6 pm

Queens location: Monday 10 am to 6 pm and Wednesday 12 pm(noon) to 8 pm. Start and end time could vary.
