Staff Accountant

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks including but not limited to managing daily transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Record cash receipts from customers
• Track overdue accounts and make necessary calls
• Generate Purchase Orders for department heads
• Monitor status of Open purchase orders
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Review costs for optimal budget planning
• Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
• Report analysis and findings to management team

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• High precision in data entry and identifying numerical errors
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Proficiency with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Managing recurring deadlines (monthly, quarterly, annually) in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work under pressure
