We are looking for someone with previous chimney industry experience who can confidently handle chimney sweeps and inspections, identify problems, perform minor repairs, write estimates, and communicate professionally with homeowners.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who understands the chimney industry and can manage their daily appointments with limited supervision.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform chimney sweeping and cleaning
• Perform Level 1 and Level 2 chimney inspections
• Identify chimney, fireplace, venting, and safety concerns
• Perform minor chimney and fireplace repairs
• Take clear photos and properly document inspection findings
• Write detailed estimates for recommended repairs
• Explain inspection findings and repair options to customers
• Follow up with customers on outstanding estimates and proposed work
• Maintain good communication with customers and the office
• Keep company vehicle, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
• Provide professional and friendly customer service

Qualifications

• Previous chimney sweeping and inspection experience required
• Knowledge of fireplaces, chimneys, flue systems, and venting
• Experience identifying chimney problems and recommending repairs
• Ability to perform minor chimney and masonry repairs
• Experience writing estimates
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable working on roofs, ladders, and at heights
• Able to work independently and manage a daily schedule
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• CSIA certification is a plus
