Qualifications:

-12 units in Early Childhood Education, including 3 core areas of Curriculum, Child Family Community, and Child Growth Development OR volunteer hours with children, coursework in Psychology, Humanities, PE, school age children.

-Previous experience working with children

-Strong Communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to create lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development

-Patience, creativity, and genuine passion for working with young children

-CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

-Familiarity with state licensing requirements for daycare centers

Job Type: Part-Time

Salary: $16.90-18.50 per hour

Benefits: Employee matched retirement-employee discount on childcare-paid time off for vacation for full-time employees

Schedule: 12:00-5:30 shift Monday to Friday
