Accountant/Fast growth potential for right candidate

Our Company is growing very quickly and we are looking for a Hands on Full-Time Accountant with very fast growth potential to perform and oversee all Accounting, Administrative and other special projects. This role will support the Director of Accounting and coordinate with other accounting and operational staff and will primarily be in an in-office position working Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

Job Responsibilities

Assist Director of Accounting with all Accounting related issues.

Roll-up sleeves and start with recording daily, weekly, monthly transactions.

Month-end, Quarter-end and Year-end close processes including recording transactions and reconciling accounts in accordance with GAAP.

Managing, Processing, problem solve issues with weekly Accounts Payable process.

Assist with closing and reconciling Affiliate entities.

Perform ad-hoc Accounting, HR, and Administrative tasks.

Qualification and skills

Accounting degree and knowledge is a MUST (must know debits and credits).

Problem solving skills are required.

Fast learner and ability to assist Director of Accounting with more challenging tasks as the Company grows.

Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Must be reliable, responsible and be able work independently to resolve issues.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
