Skilled Tradesman / Handyman

Job Summary

Perform a wide variety of maintenance, repair, and light construction duties across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting. Maintain safety standards, inspect building systems, and ensure high-quality workmanship on every project. Company vehicle and gas provided.

Key Responsibilities

• General Repairs: Fix damaged drywall, repair doors/locks, patch trim work, and perform light carpentry adjustments.
• Basic Plumbing: Clear drain clogs, replace faucets/toilets, repair minor pipe leaks, and install fixtures.
• Basic Electrical: Replace light fixtures, outlets, switches, ceiling fans, and troubleshoot minor circuit issues (non-licensed scope).
• Painting & Finishing: Prep, patch, prime, paint interior/exterior surfaces, and touch up damaged finishes.
• Appliance & HVAC Maintenance: Inspect unit performance, replace HVAC filters, clean coils, and service minor home appliances.
• Property Inspections: Perform routine walkthroughs to identify safety hazards, wear and tear, and required preventive upkeep.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years in general maintenance, residential repair, or a specific construction trade.
• Tools: Valid driver's license, and basic personal hand/power tools.
• Background: Ability to pass a background check and clean MVR
• Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints/schematics and safely operate hand and power tools.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight or overhead spaces.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, punctuality, and clear communication with clients or property managers.
• Customers: Must be Customer-oriented
