Sales Application Engineer

NIMBUS® Advanced Process Cooling is the cooling systems and solutions research, development, and manufacturing division of EMSCO, Inc., An Inductotherm Group Company with a history of providing service to the induction melting industry for over 40 years. NIMBUS Advanced Process Cooling manufactures hybrid adiabatic cooling systems, and Dry Cooling Systems in Anniston, Alabama.

We are growing rapidly and are searching for a Sales Application Engineer to work in our Anniston facility. Our company is on the forefront of design and manufacture of hybrid adiabatic fluid coolers. This position is integral to our daily operations and is involved in many facets of our company, ranging from customer contact to design work and ensuring the final product meets the customer's needs.

Essential Job Functions

• Technical proficiency to understand and explain complex product specifications
• Obtain and coordinate technical information for proper sizing of equipment
• Liaise with other engineering segments on non-typical applications
• Customer presentations (Zoom and in person)
• Project organization based on application knowledge
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Specification review
• Project design meetings
• Travel and trade show attendance is required
• Purchasing support with new product vendors
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in business software, Word, Excel, PDF, etc.

Education:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree
• 3-5 years in technical sales

Preferred by not required:

• CAD, SolidWorks experience
• Mechanical design and comprehension

Condition of Employment:

· Must be able to satisfactorily complete the hiring process requirements which includes a comprehensive assessment, drug testing, and a background check.
