Vibration Analyst
Job Description
Industrial Technology Research (ITR), a leading predictive maintenance firm serving customers in over 20 countries and 40 states, is seeking a qualified and motivated individual for the position of Vibration Analyst & Account Manager. We are a 43-year-old small-business with a strong research and development focus related to machine condition monitoring, industrial predictive analytics, and asset management.
We are seeking an analytically inclined problem solver with strong social skills and familiarity with industrial equipment and operations. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. In this position you will:
- Assist customers with designing, implementing, and managing successful vibration analysis programs.
- Assess vibration data, issues reports, and help maintenance teams plan maintenance work.
- Determine the most effective method for problem resolution and perform advanced engineering projects.
- Work closely with customers and ITR personnel to understand the customer’s maintenance processes and fulfill the customer’s predictive maintenance (PdM) objectives.
- Be responsible for all customer communications, conflict resolutions, and compliance with customer deliverables.
- Manage the delivery of recommended and agreed-upon deliverables to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Review all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met.
Essentially, we are looking for a smart, self-motivated individual who enjoys working in an office environment with occasional visits to industrial facilities. Your analytical and interpersonal skills are far more important to us than specific work experience. However, we do have a few general requirements; you must have:
- Two years or more of maintenance or production experience in heavy industry.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial processes and equipment.
- BS or AS degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
- Eagerness to perform engineering studies and solve problems.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions, and maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicles Record’s check.
- Ability to retain a valid Passport.

- Sitting throughout a workday and frequently required to use a computer and a telephone.
- Standing, walking, and driving as needed throughout the day.
- Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally addressing small or large groups of people.
- Reading, writing or using a computer screen (close vision).
- Occasionally working on weekends and evenings.
- Occasionally traveling each month to customer sites to perform service reviews, application engineering support, and dedicated monitoring system layouts.
- Traveling by air, nationally and internationally, as needed and some overnight travel with extended stay.
This position is located in Bethlehem, PA.
