Paraprofessional – Level III Residential Treatment Facility
The Paraprofessional provides direct care, supervision, and behavioral support to children and adolescents with mental health and behavioral needs in a structured Level III residential treatment setting. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, supervising residents, completing required 15-minute safety checks, implementing treatment and behavior-support plans, providing appropriate redirection, assisting with daily living activities, and documenting services and behaviors accurately. The Paraprofessional is expected to maintain professional boundaries, follow facility policies and procedures, communicate effectively with the treatment team, and respond appropriately to behavioral or emergency situations.
