Leasing Agent
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to support residents in public housing communities. This role focuses on assisting with applications, rent collection, resident support, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process applications, screenings, and move-ins according to housing policies.
- Collect rent payments and ensure accurate and timely data entry.
- Maintain records, track payments, and monitor delinquent accounts.
- Complete resident re-certifications and update income changes.
- Conduct resident interviews and provide information on available services.
- Issue lease violations and assist with resolving resident concerns.
- Perform move-in/move-out inspections and monitor unit conditions.
- Maintain accurate data in systems and prepare reports as needed.
- Assist with resident events and community activities.
- Support office operations and assist management when needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, case management, or related field
- Valid Texas Driver’s License
- 1+ years leasing experience
