Telecom Low-Voltage Technicians – Huntsville, AL
Location: Huntsville, AL 35898
Start Date: 8/17 or 8/24
Duration: 6+ months
Openings: Telecom Low-Voltage Technicians
Pay:
- Base Rate: $32.96/hour
- Fringe: $15.42/hour
- Total RT Rate: $48.38/hour
- Total OT Rate: $64.86/hour
Schedule:
- Currently 40 hours/week
- Expected to increase to 48–56 hours/week
- Current schedule: 4x10s
- Additional 8-hour Friday and Saturday shifts expected as the project ramps up
Scope of Work:
We are seeking experienced Telecom Low-Voltage Technicians with fiber experience, specifically in commercial structured cabling.
Duties include:
- Installing structured cabling systems
- Pulling and routing copper and fiber
- Terminating copper and fiber
- Commercial room build-outs
- Fiber installation and related low-voltage work
- Reading and following project drawings and specifications
Commercial structured cabling experience is KEY. Residential-only experience will not meet the project requirements.
Requirements:
- Commercial structured cabling experience required
- Fiber experience required
- Strong low-voltage/telecommunications background
- Ability to perform cable pulling and terminations
- Resume required for submission
- Must pass E-Verify
- Must pass drug screening
- Must pass background check
- U.S. citizen required
- Employees must provide their own required PPE
