Probate, PI, Family Law, Trust, Wills, Litigation Attorney

This attorney role encompasses a broad range of legal disciplines including probate, personal injury, family law, trusts, wills, and litigation. Working within a medium-sized legal team, the successful candidate will handle diverse cases, providing expert legal counsel and representation. Reporting to senior leadership while also functioning independently, the attorney will manage a varied caseload requiring strong communication, critical thinking, and litigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle probate cases including wills and trusts administration
• Manage personal injury (PI) cases from client consultation through to resolution
• Provide representation and counsel in family law matters
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case development
• Prepare and draft legal documents including pleadings and settlement agreements
• Negotiate effectively with opposing counsel and parties
• Represent clients in trial and litigation proceedings
• Oversee case management to ensure timely and efficient case progression

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in litigation law
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents
• Demonstrated client counseling and negotiation skills
• Experience with trial preparation and courtroom representation
• Strong case management abilities
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
