Tidewater Staffing is seeking experienced Reach Truck Operators for warehouse and distribution opportunities in the Hampton Roads area. This position is ideal for candidates who are comfortable operating reach trucks in a fast-paced warehouse environment and have experience safely moving, storing, picking, and staging materials.

Bilingual Spanish/English candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. The ability to communicate effectively in both Spanish and English is a major plus and can be especially valuable when supporting team communication, safety instructions, and day-to-day warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a reach truck to move, load, unload, and store materials
• Pick and place products in warehouse racking at various heights
• Stage materials for shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment
• Load and unload products as assigned
• Verify product quantities, locations, and inventory information
• Inspect equipment before use and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain an organized and safe work area
• Follow warehouse procedures and all required safety practices
• Assist with general material handling and warehouse duties as needed
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Qualifications

• Previous reach truck operating experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or material handling environment
• Ability to safely maneuver equipment in aisles and around warehouse racking
• Familiarity with shipping, receiving, order picking, staging, or inventory processes
• Ability to follow written and verbal safety instructions
• Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of a warehouse environment
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a major plus
• Forklift or powered industrial truck experience is a plus
