About the Role:
HOMECARE RESCUE LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our home health team in Wesley Chapel, FL. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives by delivering personalized, one-on-one care right in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene assistance
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, reporting changes in condition to supervising nurses
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to promote safety and independence
- Support patients with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and nutritional monitoring
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe home environment for patients
- Document care activities accurately and maintain up-to-date patient records
- Build trusting relationships with patients and families, providing emotional support and companionship
Requirements:
- Active and valid CNA certification in the state of Florida
- Prior experience in home health, personal care, or a related healthcare setting preferred
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license to travel to patient homes in Wesley Chapel and surrounding areas
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and assisting with patient transfers
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
