Shop Technician

The Shop Floor Technician is responsible for supporting day-to-day production operations, handling materials, assisting with assembly activities, and ensuring products are prepared safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

• Perform production and assembly-related tasks according to established procedures
• Prepare, inspect, and package materials for distribution and shipment
• Operate production equipment and tools safely and effectively
• Assist with inventory movement and material handling throughout the facility
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Follow all company safety protocols and operational guidelines
• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and operations teams to meet production schedules
• Troubleshoot minor equipment or production issues and communicate concerns to management
• Support special projects and operational initiatives as needed

Qualifications

Required

• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, production, assembly, or industrial environments
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools and equipment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Manufacturing or industrial production experience
• Inventory or warehouse experience
• Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment
• Experience working with ERP systems or production software
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices
• Trade school, vocational training, or technical certifications
