Job Description
  • Prepare and clean exam rooms before and after every patient visit.
  • Sterilize and arrange dental tools and equipment.
  • Assist dentists chairside by passing instruments and using suction.
  • Take and process dental X-rays.
  • Take tooth impressions and make temporary crowns.
  • Help patients feel comfortable and explain post-treatment care
  • Interpersonal skills: Friendly and comforting attitude to ease patient anxiety.
  • Attention to detail: Careful adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Technical ability: Skill in handling dental tools and operating software.
  • Education: High school diploma plus completion of an accredited dental assistant program or on-the-job training.
  • Certification: State-specific x-ray or dental assisting credentials via the Dental Assisting National Board as required by local laws
