We are seeking a skilled Lead Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance of heavy equipment, ensuring that equipment operates efficiently and safely, as well as experience in a lead or supervisory role. This role requires a proactive approach to diagnosing issues and performing repairs, as well as a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment.
• As Lead Mechanic, assist with training, coaching of other mechanics.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair hydraulic systems, air brake systems, and other critical components of heavy equipment.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each piece of equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair jobs while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs.

Skills

• Proficiency in repair techniques and practices related to heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics and air brake systems.
