What You Will Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems efficiently and accurately
- Must know the phases of residential HVAC systems and operations
- Learn and remain compliant with all standards and practices for data recording and invoice reporting
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and clearly explain all problems and repair options to customers
- Apply technical knowledge to perform thorough and accurate HVAC inspections and communicate findings
- Install, maintain, and service residential heating and cooling systems
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company procedures
- Deliver exceptional customer service while solving technical issues effectively
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Work independently while also supporting team members when needed
- Safely lift heavy equipment and materials as required
- Work in attics, crawl spaces, and other residential environments
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of HVAC installation and service experience is a plus
- Universal EPA Certification required
- Proven experience installing/servicing residential boiler systems, including oil heat systems
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring, connections, and HVAC system components
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and customer service skills
- Professional appearance with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to climb ladders, lift heavy equipment, and work in tight spaces including attics and crawl spaces
- Experience using ServiceTitan or similar software is a plus
- NATE Certification is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school training or HVAC certification is a plus
