Hvac Journeyman

The HVAC Journeyman will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Working as part of a team, the candidate will travel regularly to various job sites to perform new installations, system upgrades, routine maintenance, and emergency repairs. This role requires strong technical skills, customer interaction, and accurate documentation to ensure quality service and system performance.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace residential HVAC systems
• Perform system servicing and routine maintenance
• Troubleshoot HVAC system issues using manual diagnostics
• Fabricate and install ductwork components
• Interact professionally with customers to explain service or repairs
• Document work performed and maintain accurate service records
• Collaborate effectively with team members on various projects
• Travel regularly to multiple job sites as required

Required Qualifications

• Journeyman certification in HVAC
• EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certification in HVAC or a related field
• Experience with residential HVAC installation
• Skill in ductwork fabrication
• Strong troubleshooting abilities
• Effective time management skills
