Los Alamos Medical Center is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety, image quality, and equipment standards. This junior-level, full-time position offers varied night shifts with options for 5×8 or 4×10 schedules, competitive pay, and a sign-on bonus. The role involves close collaboration with patients, physicians, and the healthcare team in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders
• Educate patients about CT procedures and equipment
• Prepare and administer contrast media or medications within scope of practice
• Monitor patient condition throughout procedures
• Prepare and maintain CT equipment and supplies
• Position patients and perform CT imaging procedures
• Follow imaging safety and quality-control standards
• Troubleshoot and report equipment issues
• Evaluate image quality and repeat imaging when necessary
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Imaging/Radiologic Sciences
• Current New Mexico imaging/radiologic technologist license
• ARRT Radiography (R) registration
• ARRT CT registry
• Current BLS certification upon hire
• Strong technical, patient-care, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a hospital setting
• Familiarity with a variety of CT imaging protocols and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Annual salary range: $72,300–$93,800
