Registered Nurse ICU

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – ICU to join a 32-bed Intensive Care Unit in Las Cruces, NM. This role is ideal for an experienced RN who enjoys working in a collaborative, high-acuity environment and providing comprehensive care to critically ill patients.

The ICU cares for patients with conditions including respiratory failure, cardiopulmonary disease, sepsis, and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Pay: $74,880 – $90,000/year equivalent, based on experience
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000
Relocation: Partial assistance available

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor critically ill patients.
• Administer medications and specialized treatments.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• Active New Mexico RN license or applicable compact license
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire
• Strong critical-thinking, communication, and clinical skills
• Relocating candidates should be available to start within 30–45 days
