We are looking for an experienced corporate tax leader to join a growing healthcare organization in Irvine, California. This position will oversee key tax activities, provide strategic guidance on corporate tax matters, and partner with leadership to support accurate reporting and compliance. The role is well suited for someone who brings a blend of public accounting and in-house experience, strong technical expertise, and the ability to lead within a large, multi-functional tax organization.

Responsibilities:
• Lead corporate tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities to support the organization’s overall tax strategy.
• Direct the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax filings while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Partner with senior leadership to evaluate tax implications of business decisions and recommend practical, risk-aware solutions.
• Oversee tax provision processes and maintain compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with internal tax teams and cross-functional stakeholders to improve processes and strengthen operational effectiveness.
• Manage and mentor team members within the corporate tax function, fostering development and accountability.
• Support audits, tax examinations, and responses to regulatory inquiries by coordinating documentation and communications.
• Monitor changes in tax law and assess the impact on the business, developing action plans as needed.• Significant experience in corporate tax, including leadership within a corporate tax department.
• Background spanning both public accounting and private industry environments.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is required.
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax compliance, tax provision, and related reporting requirements.
• Ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate effectively with executive leadership.
• Experience working within complex organizations with multiple tax functions or business units.
• Strong analytical judgment and the ability to translate technical tax matters into practical business guidance.
