Human Resource Manager
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Human Resource Manager to lead site-level HR operations for a manufacturing facility in Louisville, Kentucky. This role will serve as a trusted partner to supervisors and employees across multiple shifts, providing practical support in employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits administration, and day-to-day HR guidance. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on approach, sound judgment, and the ability to stay visible and approachable in a fast-paced plant environment.
Responsibilities:
• Direct the full scope of human resources support for the facility, ensuring consistent execution of people programs and HR policies.
• Oversee weekly payroll administration for under100 employees, including both hourly and salaried team members, while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
• Guide employee relations matters by coaching managers, addressing workplace concerns, and supporting disciplinary and counseling processes when needed.
• Lead recruiting efforts for plant-based roles, coordinate interviews, and help deliver a smooth onboarding and orientation experience.
• Administer benefits activities and collaborate with external broker partners to support employee enrollment, questions, and ongoing plan communication.
• Maintain HR records, reporting, and administrative processes, including the use of HRIS and payroll systems to support compliance and operational needs.
• Build strong working relationships with supervisors and employees on all shifts by remaining present on the production floor and available for questions or support.
• Supervise and support one HR team member, helping coordinate daily HR tasks and interview logistics.
• Partner with site leadership to adapt HR practices to changing business needs within a manufacturing setting.

Ideal Background
- 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience
- Manufacturing HR experience required
- Open to a strong HR Generalist ready to take the next step
- Experience with payroll, benefits, employee relations, recruiting, and compliance
- ADP experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, floor-focused environment
- Adaptable and willing to wear multiple hats
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus, but not required
