Respiratory Therapist - Excellent pay+Standard Benefits (Quick Offer)

Saint Mary’s Regional Health System in Russellville, AR is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join their full-time night shift team. This role involves delivering comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonatal to geriatric, in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate is dedicated to compassionate, evidence-based treatment and thrives in critical care settings.

Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift: Nights
Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights
Travel: Not Required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with respiratory conditions
• Perform diagnostic testing, including blood gas analysis and bedside tests
• Conduct EKGs and provide tobacco cessation education
• Administer respiratory therapies and monitor patient response
• Respond rapidly to emergency respiratory calls and codes
• Communicate patient condition changes to physicians and healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and medications
• Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment; manage respiratory supplies
• Support quality improvement initiatives
• Adhere to infection-control and patient safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Arkansas
• BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Strong critical-thinking and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments with biological and chemical hazards
• Commitment to patient-centered care

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in acute respiratory therapy and emergency response
